Gratitude as vast as the Danube! 🙌

Gratitude as vast as the Danube! 🙌 Thank you to all who made the 14th EFAD Congress in Budapest, Hungary a remarkable success, moving forward into the new era.

Huge thanks to all who worked hard to make this happen, our exceptional speakers, and the oral & poster presenters who showcased their groundbreaking research on nutrition and dietetics across the lifespan.

Big cheers to our enthusiastic attendees who brought energy and enthusiasm to this event, making it truly special.  And a shoutout to the dedicated students from ENDietS, reminding us they are the future of dietetics!  Your passion is our compass.

It's a date!  We're thrilled to announce that we'll be renewing the magic in person in two years' time at Malmo, Sweden. Till then, let's stay connected and keep the scientific conversations alive! 🤝

🎃Save the Date! PPC webinar: Two Sides of the Same Coin - A Dietetic Case Study Comparison

🎃 Join us for a spooktacular webinar titled "Two Sides of the Same Coin: A Dietetic Case Study Comparison" organized by EFAD's Professional Practice Committee. This webinar will take place on October 31st at 6 pm CET, and we promise, no tricks, just treats!

Our focal points for this webinar are:

  1. Systematic Methods: We will delve into the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) and the Dietetic Care Process (DCP) as two systematic approaches to providing nutrition care. The NCP, originating in the United States, has been embraced by numerous countries worldwide. Conversely, the DCP, developed in the Netherlands, is in use across some European countries.
  2. Standardized Language: Both the NCP and DCP are closely linked to standardized language frameworks, specifically NCPT and DCPT (which includes ICF), for precise documentation.

In this case study, we'll take a haunted house tour through Mr. Patient's data. Watch in awe as we reveal how his information can be recorded and coded with both systems. Discover the tricks and treats, strengths, and dark secrets of these two approaches in real-life dietetic practice.

👻 Don't ghost us this Halloween night!  🦇🕸️🕷️
