The EFAD Learning Library is ready to launch 🚀

Dear EFAD members, partners and delegates,
Dear colleagues and friends,

This new academic season, we are more than delighted and excited to announce that our exciting project, the EFAD Learning Library, is now officially launched. This has been a highly anticipated EFAD project, supported by unrestricted educational grants by Danone and Nestle, which we warmly thank.

Our main aim and goal are to support the Life Long Learning of European Dietitians and that is why our courses are dietitian-led and evidence-based, with materials to embed in practice and take their learning in new directions. The EFAD Learning Library will be an online resources educational platform that will host courses, podcasts, webinars and many more to come.

Each course has educational resources developed by our international experts that bring practical and real-world experience to each topic.

Three new online courses are now available and part of the EFAD Learning Library:

  Sustainability in Dietetics
  Health through Gut
  Digital Nutrition Communication

as well as 4 Podcasts episodes:

  EFAD and its people
  Sustainability in Dietetics
  Health through Gut
  Digital Nutrition Communication

We truly value our collaboration and your contribution to EFAD, and we would like to offer you the opportunity to join the platform, explore around, watch the courses and share with us your valuable feedback. There are limited seats available for the time being and we are shortly planning to disseminate it widely to our bigger audience (we will need your support on this!), so please make sure that you secure your registration.

Join us and watch our online and self-directed courses at your own pace.

In case you need extra support regarding your registration or during your e-learning, please contact us at: Esta dirección de correo electrónico está siendo protegida contra los robots de spam. Necesita tener JavaScript habilitado para poder verlo..

A few words from EFAD's ELLL Committee Lead

The EFAD Learning Library is an innovative learning resource, that I am pleased to introduce as the latest scholarly activity led by the Education and Lifelong Learning Committee.
A key part of EFAD’s mission is to support the dietetic workforce with ongoing opportunities for continued professional development. The European Advanced Competence Standards provide dietitians with a framework to plan for further learning together with opportunities for reflection and application throughout their careers.
The Learning Library currently offers 3 courses and more resources will be added in time. Evidencing such learning through learning points provides documentation for dietitians of remaining fit for purpose.
The development of the Learning Library has involved many colleagues and represents a wonderful EFAD team effort. We look forward to hearing stories regarding your engagement and your feedback.

Dr Fiona McCullough

Education & Life Long Learning Committee Lead
